New Dart owner in WI

-
Just for the heck of it, on Tuesday during my break at 6:45 pm, I grabbed one of our laster thermometers that we use to check the food temp without poking it and aimed it at my seats, which are dark blue vinyl. are you ready? 123 degrees. All I can say is thank god that my buckles are always put on the floor before I get out otherwise I'd have burned my hands off.

That's crazy... It really makes me wish I had a vehicle with working AC. :banghead:

Great looking Dart! Good score!

Thank you!

Went over to Skeeter's today. It was 150 on the seats. O.M.G.

Hey guys, today I took the plunge and bought my first "real" MOPAR. I've been into Jeeps for quite a few years now, but have always had a soft spot for A-bodies and Darts especially.

This week I finally sold my motorcycle (for more than I paid btw...) and started the hunt for a new toy. I looked into few different cars and and somewhat by chance ended up with a '73 Dart Swinger with a 318 and 3spd auto on the column. The body is super straight and ridiculously clean. The interior is in great shape as well. It came with a set of centerlines wrapped in new rubber also.

I'll have better pics later this week, but here's a little preview:

I live just down the road from Ardy and Eds. I'm sure you'll see my car there at one point or another.

A new muffler does wonders for making a Dart sound less like a lawn mower!

Now she's all ready to make the trip down to her first car show.
