Mopar or No car

The last 440 that I did was in the 90's for my Super Street Duster.
It ran 10.60's @ 124 MPH.
let me show you how cheap I did this.
.060 over block
Stock 440-6 rotating assembly.
Crane roller 620 lift cam & Crane Ductile adjustable rockers.
1967 #915 head castings with 2.14 int. valves & 1.81 exh valves with the bowels cleaned up & the int & exh ports matched & deburred.
Mopar M1 intake with a 800CFM holley.
8" turbo action convertor with trans brake & a Dana 60 with a 4.88 gear set.
Now that a real simple combination installed in a 3150 LB car w/driver.
There was alot of aluminum headed rat motors that didn't run this good at the time.

Mike - His car's a little heavier I think. Factory brakes, steel cage, steel body, etc. Plus, I think the shop building it has had a little learning curve on the heads he's using - hence the added money and frustration. Just my opinion there but we've had some chats and I think that's what it is.
