Looks like MoparMuscleMag is not interested on my '66 Dart Vert :(

My thoughts on what is happening is, you don't have a 67 or newer car with a 500 hp engine with a blower, built tranny, possie rearend, real expensive paint job.!!!!!!!! Case in point here on FABO there is far more interest in 67 and newer, by posts and replies to those those posts, just more interest in the muscle cars fact of life. But they are still all great , and most everyone has a great deal of work and I know more money in them than they get out of them. Jmo

so whats the big deal about a magazine article ? you trying to pump the price for a sale ? MCG sets up their subscription booth at Moparfest as well , I shared an elevator with Rob and a photog last year after driving 4500km to get there in my 69 and winning the Canadian longest driver award , and all the pointing and whispering -"thats the guy who drove cross country" he looks at me and says "oh yeah ? cool , no we didn't bring a car we flew in ." didn't even care about the story or how the trip went or can we take a pic of the car for our article , nothing but hey I didn't care enough to beg , and the mopar guys who did care about that stuff came by and took their own pics and asked their own questions . Here's a thought you want people to know about your car go out driving in it and talk to the ones who ask -works for me

Update:

I guess I spoke too soon... Scott Ross of Mopar Muscle replied my email...

They asked for better resolution pictures! So looks like my car will be featured in their mag somehow :)

i like all of the mags. i agree they do too much E bodies and hemi stuff. i dont really caare for mopar action much because of the layout. it drives me nuts to be flippin pages all the damn time trying to find and finish the article..if ya know what i mean.

I'm with jopar...

Most of the stories/photos come from interesting cars their "stringers" stumble on at BIG outings...like the Mopar Nats ect. these guys must shoot 50 cars over a big weekend, then have you fill out their "spec sheet" . Down the road...when they feel like it , they write some BS story on your car....lucky if they spell your name right....and submit it to a editor for publication (and to get paid).

unfortunately....we are just a meal ticket for the mags

Just because they do a photo shoot on your car doesn't mean it will hit
the magazine too. In 2001 I had a 70 Sublime Green Challenger that was a
full nut and bolt restoration. Rob Wolfe of MCG pulled me over as I came
into the show with the car on the trailer. He set a time frame for me later
that day to photograph the car. I was so excited...but the car never made
it into print. Oh well.........

I guess there was too many E-bodies that year.

Now I have a 71 Demon........I sent a few photos to Hemmings and
lo and behold it made it into "Readers Ride" section the next month.
