I had been wanting to watch the movie for awhile now and it finally came on TV today. I would give so much to get 18 back then. It looks like it a better time to live. Just thought I would say. I really just wanted to watch it because of the duster turned out to be a cool movie.

Been there... Done that, watch Deliverance next
Andrew

Lmao! I don't know if it is a good thing or bad thing, but I've done both (except the whole getting raped by hillbillies thing....I'm sure Ned Beatty still has nightmares...). I'm due for an Austin trip, I'm jonesing for a top notch burger.

Lived it & loved it. This movie shows everything that we did in the late seventys.
It takes me right back. I can relate to all the people, places, & the cars.
I'm watching it as I type this.
all right all right all right.

Same here. It's like going back in a time machine for me.

It would be a lot cooler if you did..

"That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age."

Love that movie and just watched it last night myself. There's a lot of favorite parts but Martha Washington hooking her man up with a big fat bowl when he'd walk in the door every night always cracked me up.

Did you recognize Ben Affleck and Mila Johovich??? I think her only speaking portion in the movie is her little song when she's strumming her guitar at the kegger.

Either way ya'll ... Get out and do some L I V I N!!! :-D Those were the good ol' days for sure. Now don't forget, it's puff puff pass.

good movie
21 jump street is good watched it last nite
and the babey sitter both funny

I love this movie too!!

I have it on DVD just for when I am feeling Nostalgic.....Obannions' Duster looks just like my First car, 74 Duster....but I have more of a Randy "Pink" Floyd persona.

My favorite quote-
Check Ya Later!

I should also mention that my dad did own a '69 Chevelle as well :p

Mathew drove a 1970 Chevelle SS 396, not a 1969.

My High School days were a mirror image of the movie. Ben Affleck drove a primered Duster...Mila Johovich's only line "Watch them fly... away". Milia was freakin hot as LeeLoo in the 5th Element.
