I am trying to find my falcon a new home. I am stationed in Germany and don't want it just sitting around. The vehicle is in Colorado. Its a 1962 Falcon 170ci 3 on the tree. Last owner said it had a rebuilt engine, i just did new plugs and wires, oil and filter. It had headers from classic inlines and dual exhaust with cherry bombs(sets car alarms off if your into that sort of thing) New tires and brakes are good. She runs great and I just got the transmission worked on. It just needs seats reupholstered (mainly front bench), lower rear quarter panels replaced and paint. I have over $500 in new parts that have yet to be installed. New carpet in box, arm rests, headliner, new chrome parts as well. Upper ball joints and idler arm replaced. I have receipts for everything Ive purchased and a few from previous owner. Im trying to get at least $2500 Thank you for your time

After getting married in the 80s we were broke and could only afford a 4 door 1964 Falcon. It had the 170 six three on the tree. It was very reliable and got impressive fuel economy. Yours being a 2 door could go either way - reliable grocery getter, or very nice hot rod.

Wow.....the interior still looks pretty good and original. It's a classic car that can knock down some reasonable MPG numbers, and that's something going in your favor.

However, selling primered cars is rough.....been there, done that, never again. But good luck.....and I'll bet it sounds tough with those headers!
