oil is real thick in cold weather. Multi viscosity was introduced to help with that. In places where it's cold as a witch's tit in the winter.....like new jersey, you need an oil that flows really well in winter. Such as 10w30. 10 weight in the winter (w) and 30 weight normally. Sounds like you're about right.
