69 Dart-Weld Prostars/ET Street Radials

With my new 408 W2 motor I was badly needing a rear tire upgrade. I went with Weld Prostars 15X7 rear with 4.5 BS running 235/50/15 Mickey Thompson ET street radials. Fronts are 15X6 3.5 BS running a 185/65/15. Car steers much lighter than before shed a lot of wheel/tire weight over the 15" steelies/BFG's.

There were two grill schemes for 69, this one and the one that was more chrome. My car originally had the more chrome one I swapped it for this style and it's put away.

I cant swear to this, but what research I did, I think there were several differant grille schemes.. I really like the way you did yours.. Me I went with even less of a chrome (argent) look.. click my link for my build thread to check it out... at any rate you have one bad *** looking Dart.. I love it
 
I also like the custom touch to the stripe... at first glance it looks like the regular 'Swinger' stripe.. lol.. who did your stripe for you?
 
Nice looking '69. Love the custom touch to both the stripe and the engine callouts on the hood bulges.
Great job - subtle and cool.

It's B5 blue, the color she was born in :D
 
Back to the grill...this was the other grill/headlight bezel scheme in 69. My car came with this one, it's currently put away for safe keeping

Love the set-up. I don't see a 235/50/15 on the Mickey Thompson website. Are those actually 60's, cause I see that profile listed. I'm trying to find a good DOT rear slick for my 69 Barracuda, and these look perfect. Just want to verify the size.

Typo...they are 235/60/15.
 
would you mind weighing 1 rear tire/wheel combo? Want to get rid of my Cragar SS's IF I can shed enough weight.
