Might as well put some new carpet in and sell it restored. Car looks great and isn't original anymore so you might as well pull out the old carpet and put some new stuff in there. Should bring you more money in the end.

Either way, since this turned out to not be a low-miles car, it doesn't matter quite as much as it would have if it had been a low-miles car. I'd have still rather had it untouched as much as possible though.

But, that said, do you have before pics of underhood/trunk (to go with the after pics you've already posted)?

CORRECT, AND I WAS GOING TO JUST GET IT RUNNING AND SELL IT, BUT ONCE I FOUND THE MILEAGE WAS 109 K I WANTED TO REPAINT AND CLEAN IT UP A BIT. THE CAR DID NOT RUN BUT DID NOT NEED A LOT A BIT OF WORK TO GET IT DRIVING / IDLING SMOOTH...THE REST OF THE CAR IS REALLY STRAIGHT AND IN GOOD CONDITION. MOST 63'S I SEE OUT THERE THAT HAVE NOT BEEN REDONE IN SOME FASHION ARE FARM FIELD COLLECTORS, RAT HOMES, OR A SCIENCE PROJECT FOR RUST... I THINK I HAVE $600 IN THE ENGINE BAY THAT'S IT, ELBOW GREASE IS FREE FOR ME BUILDS KNOWLEDGE, CHARACTER AND CALORIES:happy2:... I WILL LOOK FOR SOME PICS OF WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE BEFORE. ENGINE BAY.

THE WAY I SEE THIS CAR IS KINDA A LEARNING EXP. AND IM OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS, I'M OK WITH CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. I DON'T NEED THE MONEY TO SURVIVE, MORE A HOBBY / SIDE JOB DEAL.. I'VE STARTED REPAINTING CARS, AND I'M RESTORING A 79 CORVETTE NOW AS WE SPEAK SO IM GETTING MORE BRAVE... GOTTA START SOMEWHERE...

The paint is way too nice under the hood and the interior isn't factory with that insert in the seats, is it? Inderside of hood is definately repainted and the hood insulation isn't original. $5000? It looks very nice, though. Carpet looks ugly, and the economy battery looks cheesy.

NOT BEING A MOPAR CAT AND ON MY FIRST OLD SCHOOL RESTO / SALE I WAS ASKING SOME GUYS ON HERE THAT CLEARLY KNOW THEIR STUFF ABOUT DARTS. I WAS INQUIRING ABOUT WHAT THEY THOUGHT IT WOULD BRING FIRST SO I COULD THEN POST IT AND ADVERTISE IT FOR SALE. ALONG THE THREAD THEY HAVE VOICED THEIR OPINION BOTH CONSTRUCTIVELY AND HONESTLY, FOR THOSE WHO HAVE I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU... I was merely pointing out the rules so that your free ad would not be deleted. Being new does not mean that you are stupid and that you cannot read the posted rules and abide by them like everyone else. The proper place to inquire is not the for sale section. The for sale section is for for sale ads. This is still not a for sale ad. It's a discussion about what other people think your car is worth.....which by the way I happen to think it totally worthless since it is your car and not ours. Nothing personal was meant by any of my comments, yet clearly, you took them as such. From your reaction to a friendly piece of advice, I would not buy squat from you. I happen to think you are nothing more than a blatent opportunist, trying to screw every last penny out of a car that you care or know absolutely nothing about. Thanks for the finger, by the way.
