who loves ac/dc

-
i like a few songs, but a very overrated band. their songs all sound the same. I can think of 100 bands that are more musically talented

Always one in every crowd.

Thinking of having "You shook me all night long" as my wedding song when I get married next summer :)

Ac/Dc-- great entertainment, highway to hell was my introduction & an Army buddy was a huge fan.\
Watched them in Germany in the early 80's monsters of rock---
the best thing is when they took the stage the pushing/shoving -- stopped everyone just watched the show!! (van halen, ozzy, motley crue, some others at this concert)

Bon Scott stuff I prefer-- but I'll take them over most of the crap now played.

Lawrence

so u got to see randy rhoads play with ozzy

i think saying there overated is a bit rich, they dont proclaim to be great technical musicians, just good beer drinking, crutch grabbing, foot tapping, head banging rock, that makes u wanna work harder and drive faster in your mopar that is,Hell whats wrong with that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bon Scott is it. Like the Rolling Stones without Mick.

Where in Germany? I was there in 80 to 82. Same **** just started hearing AC/DC

It may be true that Bon Scott was better? I don't know, for Brian Johnson to take his spot with all the sucess they've had since 1981. You can't deny the boy has talent!

Brian Johnson's also a gearhead.Saw a Youtube video of him roadracing,he does it as often as he can.

Look at the HUGE crowd bouncing to the music. Looks like a wave in the ocean of people...

All the earlier stuff. Outstanding! Watching them (on video) live is friggin amazing!
I appreciated a very large diversity of music. I'll always will have an appreciation for AC/DC.
When I was a kid working on cars and my friends older brother was blasting back in black, highway to hell, whole lotta rosie and we've got big balls all the time in the morning before breakfast, out in the shop, late at night, it was just great!
I remember having shoot to thrill blasting wide open, opening up the 4 barrels on my tall geared highway machine doing 100-140 for miles and miles with a car load of friends in the cool summer night!

you hit the nail on the head "good beer drinking, crutch grabbing, foot tapping, head banging rock". thats about it. for those that say they're a "great" band? please. putting AC/DC in the same category with Zeppelin or Sabbath? :wack:

Gotta love Bon Scott!! His memorial is 40 mins away. He's buried at the cemetery near there. I met Joey, the first drummer of the band last year, good bloke.
