...also, who here on FABO are also members of the Mopar Club of San Diego? Just was curious. Additionally, I know that RockersDuster mentioned the idea of not waiting till Cruisin' Grand to get some SD members together. I know this season is busy, but perhaps we can put together a Mopar showing...

thoughts? I am in Poway.

I live in oceanside not part of a club at least not yet. wrapping up my 67 cuda restoration.

Escondido for me!
Not a member of any club atm...I am having too much fun still getting together with a lot of the FABO guys from here. We have some great members on here that are close to SD county too (Temecula/South San Bernadino County/Indio).

Vista, Ca here too, no membership, putting the wagon back together after it getting wrecked.

Right in the middle of SD here. Hoping to have my Dart on the road before summer.

I am constantly moving all over the various counties. But always somewhere in SD.

Is there an "A-body" club in SD? There should be one.

There's not an "A-body" club, other than the FABO members who get together occasionally. There's also the Mopar Club of San Diego. When I was a member, some of the others kind of looked down their noses at A-body guys, but I hear they're not so bad now.

I heard the same thing about some of the Mopar Club of San Diego members, but I met Larry Johnson at Cruisin Grand last year and he was really great guy. He gave me a ton of info we talked about a few cars and most of them were members of the Mopar Club as well.

Not sure when Mopar Night at Grand will be, but I suspect I am going to miss it unless it is later in the season....:banghead:

Well I'm in Allied Gardens, 69 Dart on the road for a few months now. Not any club member at this time.

Fun looking Dart! Ever make it out to Cruisin' Grand in Escondido? I am hoping towards the end of the summer I can make it, but I AM going to miss Mopar Night in July.

a few of us used to meet at my shop in esco and head over as a group.check out the fabo representing on grand thread.as soon as im done messing with my latest exhaust project/upgrade ill be heading to grand.

We usually do the La Mesa or El Cajon shows, although our Dart hasn't been on the road since 2008 when we started the V8 swap. Guess we'll have to make the run North to Grand one of these Fridays. Looks like Mopars are well represented. Mine should fit right in with the peeling clear coat and all....

69Cuda,
That car is beautiful! Hope to see it one of these days. One of my next attempts is going to be restoring my dash, yours looks just awesome.

Thanks, I appreciate the compliment! I hope to take it up to Cruisin' Grand towards the end of August, though I wish I was going to be in town for Mopar Night towards the end of July (27th I think). I really like your black plate Dart as well, and I have a soft spot for almost any black plate car. The 67-69 Darts are my next favorite style behind the 67-69 Barracudas. I have not made it to either La Mesa or El Cajon (I was aware of them), but that is due mostly to work and traffic.

National City here, no clubs for me either, just not enough free time. Met up with some of the local FABO's at Cruising Grand 2010 (pics below) and had good time with great people. Will hopefully catch up this 27th.

Carmel Mtn. moving down to Poway in a couple months. Not a part of any club. I don't know how long I'll be in the San Diego area due to my job. I'll be home in a couple weeks and am looking forward to the last couple Cruisin Grands and any other functions I can find!

South Orange County here but I have SDG&E. Does that count? Always up for a car get together of anykind, anywhere. Last Saturday I went to a get together @ the Starbucks in Monarch Beach(Crown Valley & PCH). It was the first time I"d been there but there were some great cars of all kinds. Gotta get there early, though. I got there @ 7:30am and there were already 40 cars lined up. And everyone started leaving by 8:30. Worth gettin up early for. I believe its been happening for a couple of years.

Right now, I am planning on going up to Cruisin Grand on the 24th of Aug...provided I get back when I expect to get back and have time to clean up the car after it has been sitting...I might just go up there to walk around and leave the car at home, just not sure yet.
