where is #1??

It could be anywhere. All depends on where the intermediate gear is stabbed in the cam.If you have a 0 mark on your damper bump the motor over till the piston comes up and tries to blow your finger off the holethen try and get that mark on the 0 on your timing tab. Where ever the rotor points you need the number one wire there with room to twist the distributor an inch each way to set the timing.
