Here's a video of the initial fire-up and tweaks. Still waiting on a Spal fan so we had a couple of electric fans moving some air.

Love that classic whine. Crack the throttle from inside the car and I can tell this is going to be a much different animal than the old NA 440. :toothy8:

Awesome!! Wish I had your money, only problem is IT'S TOO QUIET!!!

super sweet..... What are we doing for a radiator fan?

I'm waiting on a Spal pusher that I'm going to squeeze in front of the radiator. Nervous about it. There's no room behind the radiator and not much more in front.

Wish I had my money.

It's funny, been running Pypes Perf. Race Pro muffs and the tone is, well - different. Somewhat mellow at idle but when you get on it they have quite a bark. Never really been sure if I like it.

Very cool Preston! I've admired your car for a long time. I thought it was perfect before, but you out-did yourself. Top shelf Duster in my book... nicely done!

It sounds awesome but damn there really aint much room in front of those bigass pulleys! I wish you good luck in fiting a fan in there somewhere,lol..

I use to not like dusters much but wow!! Yours is the nicest I've ever seen!!! I think I want one to put my extra /6 in!!

Very very nice build... good video too. I Just took my Dart out yesterday for the 1st time with the fresh 360 installed... that instal fire-up feels great.

Awesome!
Blown cars sound great...
This thing is gonna fly!

Please excuse the late response, I had to go find some looser fitting jeans.

Awesome looking & sounding motor!

Love those blown big blocks :burnout::blob::toothy8:

Worked now, that's bad *** but much much much to quiet. Does that blower have relief in case of a back fire?

Yes, there's a backfire valve on the manifold.

As far as sound - well, the video doesn't really do it justice. It was sitting over dirt. When it's over pavement or cement, different story. On the interior shot of the video, I brought the sound level down too. Loud is not a problem. I wouldn't mind a different tone though. Flowmasters might give it that ratty note.

Look into "Bullit" mufflers. I had a Flowmaster on my Jeep, then put a Bullit muffler on with the 3" exhaust. WAY better than the Flowmaster as far as muscle car tone & bark. Flows better too IMO
