i have a 72 duster 340 stroker will hooker super comps fit my car these are 1 3/4 headers the engine builder recommended getting bigger headers i bought hooker competition headers a few months back but there 1 5/8 so he said the dyno will pull different numbers with bigger headers.
should i get bigger headers or stick with my 1 5/8 headers??
thanks

Ported heads, stock heads, Eddie heads, magnum heads, flow numbers on heads, compression, specs on cam?

new RHS Heads worked over by Mike @ MRL, lunati beehives, etc,
compression will be approx 10/1 (pump gas friendly)

Yes.Part number 5204.1.75 pipe,3 inch collector.38 " primaries,no power dteering.IMM does BADASS work,good luck.

tti 1 5/8-1 3/4 steps or the super comps will work.

tti's will fit better.

I agree with cracked. Why are you building an expensive stroker and then cheaping out on headers that hang down low? I can't wait to sawzall my Hookers off my Dart.

i have the tti in one duster and hooker super comps in my 2nd duster both are standard steering and the both fit well and neither are low.i have nothing bad to say about either header

Usually around 10hp is my guess.

The tti and super comps will be comparable on top end hp. tti will usually make more tq under the curve.

I have the super comps on my 68 Barracuda. They hang lower on passenger side. The collector flange is phased with the triangler bolt hole on the bottom. It bottoms easily with passenger. gets caught when loading on trailer.
