yes, i agree it would sell with the scoops

I paid $500 for the hood back in 2005 when I bought my 70 swinger340 SO what's pictured is what the buyer gets.. I have no scoops.. They're $200+ that I am not gonna invest in something I don't need- I plan on running a lift off 6pak hood on my Demon SO this has to go

$400 for just a hood with no scoops, that's high... but good luck with the sale... but here's a bump for you

Not really I've seen 3 of these hoods in ready for paint condition the cheapest one was $1,500

Like I said I paid $500 as it sits and have stored it since I'm not gonna really budge on the price unless there is something in trade/+/- cash I feel worth my time

Thanks! I'm also willing to trade for Mopar parts- looking for 68-70 B body axles, B body drum backing plates, 8 3/4 3rd member, A body V8 K member, A body V8/auto/ 8 3/4 drive shaft

I am in central MN and have a complete 8 3/4 rear drum to dum with center section-non sure grip, also have drive shaft, all from a 68 Charger. Also have some other stuff from the car too like the rear seat and nice dash housing.

And those people really need to put down the crack pipe.

It's a run of the mill 70-71 Dart hood with two big holes drilled in it.

I think I found a way to get rid of my hoods... Drill some holes in it and ask $1500!

Good luck with the sale

be my guest it probably won't match this factory one I have pictured...

Wanna bet... I'll get 10 of those hoods together and 1 will not be factory, I'll bet you can't pick out the non factory hood!

It's nothing but a holesawed hood with drilled mounting holes. With the advent of plasma cutters, they are even easier to dupicate.

$1500 for a 70-71 dart hood is crap pipe territory.

Good luck with your sale.

WELL I paid $500 stored it for almost 8 years and am asking $400 I don't think that is outrageous (not asking $700 LOL)- you could buy it do the work it needs, buy a pair of scoops, and sell it for more than you have in it...

that is all - I'll probably have a trade deal worked out this week...

I'm not making a comment about your price, nor what you paid, just the $1500 comment.

If someone pays you what you want and they are happy, that's all that counts.

^NONSENSE^ and uncalled for in this sellers thread, period. No one needs to or wants to read this crap.

Seems like a deal to me, holes or not!

i think he's lookin out for a potential buyer...someone will get jacked if they buy it at that price... to the OP, I'm sorry, but if you payed 500 for that nearly 8 years ago....ya got jacked....your gonna have to cut your losses man...

Not creating any negative here but most likely a year from now AMD will have one of these hoods out there for sale. Then most who have genuine will be forced to having the hoods they have restored prior to selling. Yes, the originals will still sell in original condition but that market is going to shrink in a big way. They already have a buldge hood for 67 to 69. Yeah, its only a matter of time.
Chas.

not really I bought a running/driving numbers matching 70 swinger340 for $4,500 the same day so no I didn't get ripped off..

this will likely be traded locally anyway
