Hey all !!

My Mopar project is a 1964 Barracuda. Its a V8 car and the guy I bought it from pulled the 273, disposed of it and put an early 80s 318 in it. I'll run it as is, but would like to find a complete 273 to put back in it later on. Does not have to be a runner, but would prefer a complete engine. If its torn down, and you bagged and tagged all the parts, that will work also. The 360 we are putting together for Ians Duster was "all there" when we bought it.....ya right !! I dont want to go through that again. :)

TIA,
Sam

PM Me and we can talk.....
1967 Super Commando 273 Complete, minus a few parts that we moved over to new 360 motor, like starter, Pulleys, Alternator....
Let me know....

The 273 that was sitting in my 69' Dart was on it's last leg and pulled for a 318. Don't know how many are out there. Glad to see Lusk is still on the map. I spent quite a bit of time in Wyoming years ago. Good luck with your project.

I really appreciate all the help guys, but cost of shipping on top of purchase price takes it out of affordability. I just got a PM from a member thats only about 135 miles from me. Thats doable. :)

Freight is a killer. You do know about the crankshaft bore being smaller on the 273 for where the snout of the tourque convertor goes in. I know this is correct for the 1967 and back 273s.

I still am useing the original pushbutton auto and torque convertor. The 318 flex plate was drilled and balanced for the pushbutton torque convertor.
