Hey guys imthinking of putting a 440 winnebago motor in my duster. The motor is a 1971 and the duster has 456 gears and a 727 with a 3000 stall converter and shift kit. What horsepower/torque ratings did thes motors have? and will it work with my current combo? Thanks in advance for yourhelp.

has different heads then normal 440 (not performance oriented) and also has short shaft transmission that won't work with a car and small block trans won't bolt up

oil pan has to be changed as well as pickup tube, motor mounts and manifolds

What motor do you have now? If it is a big block you are in business but if it isn't pull out some more money for a tranny.

the winnebago combo would've been a low compression motor so horsepower would've been pretty low, 300 or less. Pistons, cam, valves, intake and headers will change all that.

Good info about the oil pan. I'm picking up a motorhome 440 from a friend so I can make some laps at the track while I build my race motor.
