Thanks for the info, I will check the paint scheme on these. I will also get some pics up later too. I suppose it could always be painted either way if desired.
Yes, if you can remove or add black paint and not mess with the anodizing. Looking over them a little bit, I think you can just add black. But should study the pics more. And you'd really not want to remove or smear any of the silver paint either. That original silver is some of the value of the NOS. Then you'd have to mask and paint ALL of the black over again to make it match perfect.
