I thought I might build some HEI systems using the GM Ecoils and ECU then build the parts into a nice looking container for everything with the hookups for power and coil connections on the outside of the case.
Something like the picture for the case and everything pre wired inside.
Would anyone be interested and what would you think a fair price would be for this with instructions for the connections?
I want them to be a moisture proof unit.

Also, I'm open to suggestions if anyone has an idea that would make it better.

Right now I'm checking to see if there would be any interest in something like this.

Thanks

Looks nice, seems like a product that should have come to market years ago and hasn't.

Look at the GM 8-pin module. It already has sealed connectors (Metripak or such) that stick out the side of their "small cap, computer distributor". You could put it in your box with cutouts for the 2 connectors. One connector goes to their coil, using their cable (isn't that easy?). The other connector is optional (computer command of spark advance). Hard-wire a distributor cable, as 67Dart273 shows, but I suggest a plastic "cord clamp" (search that and "PG7" on digikey) and smooth PVC sheath (SPC Tech on digikey). Also provide a ground terminal that must be connected. A bad ground it the reason most Mopar and GM modules are claimed "bad".
