230 miles tow it or drive it ?

I'll tell you what, I drove my car to the Nationals in 1985. I had 3.91 gears and I had removed ALL of the insulation as I considered it dead weight. I was NEVER so glad to get out of a car in my life LOL. My feat were litererly sweating in my shoes from the headers under my feet and the noise from the engine (which I normally LOVE) was driving me crazy. If you can put up with it drive it but I'll bet that after the experience, next time you'll trailer it. See you at the Nationals and good luck!
i had a ford ranger 4x4 that i put a 302 in it. had 4.10 with 31" tall tires. no insulation, no mat on the floor. truck was just an off road bomber. took it on a 700 mile round trip in the middle of august. was the most miserable trip i ever took....including riding a 600 mile trip on the bike in november......in the rain the entire way....
