:prayer:Hi all. I am trying to find a very anoying whistle on a 68 dart rag top. I always liked the look of the bulge hoods so I stuck one on. It looks great but now I have a damed whistle. It starts at app. 20 mph & up & will eventually go away when you get her up to 60 mph. The funny thing is I also had a 69 dart & changed the flat hood to a bulge hood & had the same issue. WTF but never found the issue & eventually sold it. Now here I am back to the same issue. Has anyone had a simallar issue ???? & how did you fix it??? I have tried everything, took off the inserts, took off front chrome, ect, ect, On a seperate note I met Daisy Duke @ Carlisle she is still hot. Thanks

I'm kind'a curious also, I have the same problem...buddy of mine was in front of me and he could hear it also...very anoying to say the least.

Maybe try to use painters tape on different areas of the hood, trim, etc. and drive it again until you find it ?

I could see how it could get annoying.......

Wind noises and water leaks can be a service techs worst day.
Where a problem repeats like y'all are saying a technical service bulletin may have been released.
If archive digging isn't fruitful, the model was well out of warremty before the issue arose. In that case the first thing I would do is install a brand new hood to cowl seal.

Strange , if you're lucky it will keep the moose away . :)

never had a whistle that I can remember with my 340 Swinger(maybe the exhaust was louder), but I definitely do with my 4 door slant six(with a flat hood). Had not gone as far as taping it up, but had thought about it.

Yea that's it. I used the tape & taped off everything possable. Found it was the front hood chrome trim. Run a bead of sillicone on bottom side. Problem solved. Thanks all for the helpfull replies.
