LED Dash Light

Could you post a summary of what bulbs you used? I noticed on superbrightleds.com there are about a million different options for each light type.

Also to clarify, each LED also required a screw in connector for the dash connection? The factory connectors would not work?

Thanks!

Todd

ok so go under "Car bulbs" and then to the "#194/168 Miniature Wedge Base bulbs"...

as for the screw in connectors they fit in the stock ones! which is nice... but if you need new ones they are on ebay and i think they were 1/2", they fit a million cars so they are just a standard size, there are 5/8" sockets to though...

Now for the Brake warning light it takes a push and twist bulb. those are called a "BA9" bulb... singe LED is plenty bright...

somethings i did notice...

Using a red bulb for the Brake Warning and Oil Warning lights worked great, nice and bright with great color... but using a red i either 1 or 4 LED did not show thru the high beam lens well, so you can either try a white 4 bulb or just use an old incandescent...

i prefered to have the "X4" for the main speedo (and tach if you have one) and then the single "X" for the temp gauge and such... this gives it a nice splay in brightness. now for both get the widest angle one available...
