What torsion bars is everyone using w a new hemi?

I've been in contact with Mike at PST, and he suggests running the 0.096", over the 1.03".

" As far as torsion bars go I would say .096" is probably the best bet. They are a stiffer 440 bar that retains the factory clocking so you can raise them a little higher if needed. The 1.03 bars are clocked differently and with a lot of weight would sit low. "

I won't pretend to know what clocking means.

Considering the hemi weighs less than the LA smallblock, I'm not real sure what he's getting at. Just about any torsion bar you have right now should work fine.

I'll be running 1.04's. But that choice has nothing to do with the hemi swap, and everything to do with handling. Pick your spring rates based on what you want to accomplish with the car as far as ride quality vs handling/ body roll in a corner.

Clocking of the torsion bars - depending on who manufactured the bars and how stiff they are, the front hex will be offset differently vs the rear hex. That allows for a different range of ride height adjustment.
