1965 Valiant Signet Convertible 360 V8 f/s $7,500 obo in PA

Very sweet driver. Bought in Santa Monica, CA from Hollywood exec in 2006. Garaged since and driven very seldom. New points. Runs and drives great. True mileage unknown but it's a very tight Mopar. Color is orig Gunmetal Grey Metallic, and the tops have typical california sunfade. everything works as should, including elect top. Seats redone nicely, and real wood wheel (I have orig). Has Vintage Air. CD player/tuner is hidden behind glove box door. No antenna, but I just play CDs. Orig /6 car, but converted long ago using V8 k frame and 360 motor w/Edelbrock 600 carb and true dual exhaust behind manifolds. Motor seems stock-mild as opposed to really worked, but sounds great with slightly lumpy idle and pulls strong. Open rear w/unk gears. Car is quite straight and basically rust free by East coast standards. Frame rails and floors are solid. Have fender tag, and old receipts showing prior owner spent almost $10k on maintaining and enhancing the car, including an engine rebuild. 4 drums w/aftermarket front swaybar. Console shifted 904 trans.

Known issues: the trans has a leak which I believe based on wiping eveything dry then observing is one/more of the various lower gaskets/rings as opposed to the front main seal; sometimes car requires additional cranking when restarting when hot as opposed to cold (I was planning to convert to electronic ignition which I think may cure this-I will include an elect recurved distributor); very lower 1/4s do have some rust. Has basic wear and tear expected of a car this age. $7,500 obo. PA clear antique title in my name. Prefer local deal but no problem selling long distance, with buyer paying all related expenses. Hate to say this, but please be serious and have the funds and "permission" to buy before calling. Thanks!

tried pic upload but apparently too big.
