far as know 273's had forged cranks and are interchangeable between 273 318 and 340, 360 is externaly balanced and has its own crank. should work fine if the crank is good.so the answer to your question is no, but will work in a 340.
I know they are interchangable, the problem is when you go to balance them, a 273 crank will take a ton of mallory and $$ to get a 273 balanced with 340 pistons. Which is what I would like to try to avoid.
