Generally yes. It really depends upon who is doing the porting. They will be far less expensive than an equal set of 906 heads. We've ported both the 906 and RPM heads to over 340 cfm. With the ported RPM we've made 770+ HP on a normally aspirated pump gas 451 stroker. Even after Comp Cams blew up our pump gas 500" wedge with ported 906 heads, by not turning the water on to it for the dyno session, it still made 730 HP with the scrap parts.
