This 1967 Coronet 500 383/4spd is an original California car and this is truly a one of a kind find
The original 383 (126000mi) was rebuilt by Book Racing and has 700 miles on it. (Approx. 400hp) Flowtech ceramic coated headers, starter blanket, new aluminum radiator with dual electric 10” fans and adjustable temp controller. New under hood wiring, water/fuel pumps, alternator 75A, Holley 750cfm vacuum secondary and lokar accelerator cable. The A833 Trans has a new Hays clutch/ pressure plate setup and clutch linkage. 8 ¾ sure grip (742 case) rear with 3.23 gears and new adjustable pinion snubber. The 2 ½” exhaust is new with thrush mufflers. New front suspension including RMS control arms, all new bushings, torsion bars, shocks, Brakes. Driveshaft has been balanced by Chicago driveline, Manual steering. Manual brakes. Inland 4 speed shifter. The interior is in very nice condition.

The engine compartment has been freshly painted, the car still needs to have body work/paint redone. Body, frame and pans are all solid. Excellent original sheet metal, not rusted through, some surface oxidation where the original paint has been chipped/worn. I have had several people at the shows comment what a solid original car this is. Car has the original vinyl top

Steering is tight and straight, car launches straight, motor pulls very well thru the gears, transmission shifts smoothly. All lights and directional work as they should, heat works as it should, wipers work, but wiper motor is a 3 speed and car was originally built with a 2 speed wiper motor. Brakes are drum all around and have been rebuilt.

This is not a perfect car (yet) but a work in progress that is well on its way and over 75% complete. Mechanicals are in excellent condition. <br>
I easily have $19,000+ tied up in the car (Just added up the receipts, surprised me), $16k value. This is a very nice mopar.

VEHICLE HISTORY: This 1967 coronet 500 was formerly owned by John Vukovich of the Philadelphia Philly&#8217;s (Coached for Cubs for 2 yrs.) that he purchased in 1966 with a 10k sign on bonus. I have the certi-card along with a great amount of documentation on this car that I gathered and a folder full of receipts, including Chrysler historical society report, DMV records from some previous owners and Chrysler service manuals.

Trade for ???

Southwest suburb of chicago. Homer glen illinois

I would certainly consider trade for nice Dart/Duster of at leastequal value.

How about a 71 demon and a 73 dart sport? Demon needs rear quarter patches and front floor pans. Perfect underside. Dart sport has new paint and a non-running 340 with steel crank. Have 23 thousand invested in both cars together. Im about an hour south of KC, MO.

Hi

I do not want to get into another project. Want something relatively complete

Thanks

No problem figured it was worth a shot. Thanks and good luck with the sell or trade.

Still Here, would like trade:

1970-1973 or 1978-1981 Z28
1970-1975 or 2000-2002 Trans Am
1968-1973 cutlass/442
1968-1969 Chevelle
$16500

Yea i saw that-its gone
I have had offers but folks trying to trade me their 6000 dollar projects- Ill pass on that,
Had someone offer 12K, I'LL burn it before that happens
If i could get 15k for mine id be happy

A video of that car going through the gears would help sell it. That metal on that car looks extremely solid. That car has probably never seen a winter road. Nice car.

I finally found the time to take the car cover off and take some pictures. I'm going to start a new for trade ad so look there for some details. PM me to talk on the phone.
Thanks--------Roy
