I was reading this thread for 2 reasons I am repairing my factory A/C and live 8 miles from Classic Air here in Tampa and used them for help even thought I bought nothing from them...My windows are all factory tinted the tint is very hard to notice if at all and Plymouth recommended tint as it makes it easy for factory system to keep cooler, but might take a little longer to get cool but works with out the tint ..I would think with a NEW systems you would never notice any cooling delay at all .Rick...:-k
It certainly helps but it was 90 degrees here in GA today with 80% + humidity an my windows in my 65 Barracuda are not tinted and it was pretty cool in my car even after driving for 45-60 minutes.
