Did not TNT Saturday because the Fly Wheel and Starter did not agree. We managed to get it cranked though and those links are in the thread. That is all fixed now and are tightening up the little things as we speak. Car will be out the 24th and 25th for some shake down and licensing passes.
 
Unfortunately I'll be adding myself to the no go list now. It is just mind blowing how the little stuff can add up. What stings even more is that the car will be done and sitting in the garage for DW... Now for my painful email to the HR Staff. Hope to see you guys next year...

Keep your head up, just look how much closer you were to making drag week this year than you were last year. Besides it not about drag week it's about the car you always wanted to build.
 
Are you planning on showing up on the first or last day in Tulsa? It sucks you won't be making it (sure I'm not telling you anything new), I was looking forward to making my way out to your pit to say hi and check the car out in person. There's always next year, plus you'll have a whole year to work out the bugs to really make a go at the title.

Naw man,

Not even going to be there. It will hurt too much to be there and car is in the garage, ready but not tested. I'll catch you next year though and will follow as much as I can from the internet and through Speed TV...

Sorry to hear you aren't going Darryl, but I fully understand your thinking about taking an untested car on such a duelling trip. Was keen to meet you and see your Duster run. I hope I'll be able to make it out again next year.

They have Mopars @ the Park in Tulsa this November. I had always planned to bring my own ride to this event since I was a little kid helping my dad. I plan on blowing peoples minds this year. Hopefully my Duster is ready to do it...

Sorry to hear ya wont be making DW. But you making the right choice, better to get it all straighten out then break somewhere along the way. Going to try making to Tulsa in Nov. hope see you there and see the car run.

is that a license plate I see hanging under there?

guess I'll see you at the coffee shop....with that vinyl top...you can slide right in with the Lincoln Town Cars and my neighbors LTD....probably not even get noticed as long as no-one gets sucked into your front bumper
