Well, Tropical Storm Isaac hit us here in south Florida with a BUNCH of rain. Officially, the rain fall in the past 24 hrs is 3 inches but I know we got more than that by my house. Lights flickered a few times. Some really nasty sounding thunder. Bunch of tree limbs down. But overall, no biggy.

Worst part for me is my shop has no power :(
 
That stink all we got here in Valrico is rain rain and more rain. Playin in the driveway with my beat up blazer lighten the tires like no tomorrow with a 2.8 liter
 
My wife just called me - the pond behind our house is up to the palm trees and the water is only a few inches from our neighbors front door. I'll post some pics tomorrow.
 
im all boarded up. generator redy. food stocked up.just waiting here. about 30miles from new orleans. hoping everthing goes ok.
 
I was wondering why I hadn't heard back from you yet after sending payment for my stickers the other day. I am assuming that's why lol. Glad to hear you and the family are alright!. My cousin is down in Florida and was getting prepared for the storm but said that it missed them where he's at.

Hope the water stays at bay for you and that you dont get a swimming pool in the living room or anything haha.
 
Here are some pics - Best estimate is that my town, Boynton Beach got between 12 and 15 inches of rain between Sunday morning and Monday afternoon. It pretty much stopped raining yesterday around 4pm.

The last one is of a critter that scared my wife when she was cleaning up debris in the back yard. My 11 year old son, Sean, caught it and put it in his old fish tank. It's a Banded Water Snake - non-venomous but looks a lot like a Water Moccasin.
