Looking for a NEW set of lifters for my 383 big block...1967 vintage.
someone must have a set sitting around?

i didnt know they were different from any other 383 motor?
Would they be cheaper for 1968.
 
I have had 3 different cams in my 67 383 and everytime they tell me a 67 is different from a 68-71.

I do not remember I think it was the width of the cam journals,it was something to do with the cam....
 
Old 383 lifters have smaller pushrod tip seats.....Nothing to do with the cam.
 
............pistha is right, the pushrods also necked down to fit the lifter........if ur not using factory 67 lifters, just get everything for 68 up.........kim...
