Today I got a large box from Leanna, mistress of metal work! Honestly I must say that after looking at the valve covers that it an understatement!
Those cover looks exactly as they did back in the days. I called two hemi guy in town and two other Mopar friends stopped by. They were blown away of the quality of the work.
I must admit that from the beginning I had my doubts. But after seeing these covers I know that this is a work of art. Looks just like factory pieces.
The covers looks brand new, the fins are mint and the masking of the pipes just as the factory did it. I will give anyone the best recommendations to use Leannas service. She's the master.
I bolted the covers to the engine and now it's starting to get fun! I have never in my life has the experience that the spark plug wires need to be mounted just one way!! The reason is simply the length of the wires. See attached picture. But the repop plastic wire holders are a little too small. I need to dig into that.
