Average age of Mopar Maniacs.

My fist Mopar was my 3rd or 4th car, I was wheeling and dealing even back then. The guy who took me under his wing and gave me my first job turning wrenches at night (16) owned a 69 440 r/t charger that was the baddest car around. He hooked me up with a 1970 340 duster black, white high back buckets, rally dash, 4spd and a 391 posi. I paid 900 dollars(1977) because the guy was in a bind. Drove that car into my senior year while I was building a tunnel ram 440 that I was determine to put in the duster. Otto convinced me not to cut the car up and we found a 70 road runner. That car paid for my oldest son to be born. Otto used to tell me about the day he took delivery of the charger and left the dealership sideways. When I got back to my car instead of customer cars and purchased my SRT8 that is how I left the delaership which got me crappy phone car from the dealer. I hope my Valiant turns out as well as I see it in my mind. My wife says she has a great family with 5 boys instead of 4 but oh well. Tom
