this 69 valiant just came into a local yard here in tacoma, washington. fenders and doors are perfect. lower quarters are little rotten. grill is worse than pics show. interior is all gone. tail lights are pretty decent. i tried to buy the whole car and they told me that once they go to the yard they cannot be sold complete. if anyone needs a part id be willing to go pull it and ship it for you for a very minimal charge. let me know guys, just trying to save whats left of her for someone that may need some parts.

if you have the means-- the bright work will sell--- I would be interested in the drivers side door latch(if you could take a picture ) that would let me know if it's worth pursuing.

the bumper & grille look good-- thanks for the invitation ,Lawrence

I would love to have the whole car for my Wife. But I am broke and its too far away.

grill is worse in person. my crappy cell phone pic makes it look better. bumpers are both tweaked. when you say door latch. what exactly do you mean? outside handle? mechanism inside the door that catches on the post in the door jam?

check out the picture-- if the lip is crushed or badly distorted then it would not be worth the hassle,
this is the door latch the clamps on the striker post.

thanks Lawrence

Yeah they don't want these old cars around forever, once in the yard they want it killed

Too bad, we have enough cars and really don't need any more, just fix up the ones we got now but nooo, 55 mpg cars have to be here someday

can we get better pictures of the grill please. I know you say its worse but might be able to fix it

ok i just went back and grabbed the grill with the bezels and all mounting hardware. its pretty rough guys..... i will post a few pics soon. i grabbed the tail lights also as they are in nearly pristine condition. they will in no way shape or form sell me this car. i offered them $1000 for it and they still said no. they told me i could buy every part by itself and that was only way. then they wont sell you the shell. they dont want these cars back on the road.

I found a salvage yard in Kansas that had only Chrysler products. I found a super bee clone. He wouldn't sell me the whole car but only as parts. We went round and round as the car was solid with little rust and the body was straight. I told him to figure out how much he would make selling the parts over the whole car, total it up, and, if reasonable, I'd buy all the parts. I told him it would be easier to ship if still all on the car. In other words, I tried to buy the whole car. Even though I offered him the same amount of money he'd make selling it parted out, he still wouldn't do it. I passed. What a shame. I am sure it is crushed now. Why are some people impervious to common sense?

Did you get the turn signal housing for the grill? Did you find the lenses?
Also was it a floor shift car?

Oh yeah, I didnt even see that. Those are the hardest to find haha. I have a complete one, but am thinking about taking this one also.

no the lenses were not with the car. who ever took this to the yard must have took what they wanted first and dumped the rest. the entire interior was gone. steering column included. even the carpet was gone. its pretty much a rolling shell. even the wiring is all gone. doors are all there still and front fenders. sad part is that this car is laser straight.
