Hello: I badly need exterior molding clips for my 64 dart. They are tiny plastic clips that are hard to find! (see pics) I have called a lot of different places but no one so far has come up with them. I've sent samples to Restoration Specialties to see if they can come up with some. Please contact me if you have them or know where I can find them. I need some other clips too. Thank you!!

I had to replace most of the plastic ones with these butter fly kind, ( i call them) got them at the auto paint store. they worked fine. good luck on your search. I`m shure some of the early Dart members will chime in with some better answeres for you.

That is a really good idea! We hadn't thought about a universal clip. We will look around here in so cal, but if any one else knows where we could pick some up locally or can get them to us quickly, please let us know. Apparently we needed them yesterday!

Well the painter did get some of those universal clips and they worked out great. Also just some information for all, I found some of those small metal ones (they are in the shape of a tiny flame, (interior clips) and also the small odd shaped plastic clips, at Restoration Specialties. They only had those two type of clips that we were looking for. (seemed a bit expensive ! but if you have to have those specific ones, they have them). The car is getting closer to getting done!.

Hello! I don't know if he needs more pieces yet. He's waiting for the metal polisher to give us back some pieces, he promised them 3 weeks ago! I go and pick some up tomorrow. The kid is very anxious to get his car back so he can work on a few things although I don't know when he'll do that as school is really keeping him busy and next month he'll need to start his college applications! The only pieces that I know that he needs for sure are the bottom of the door sill plates. His are in bad shape but finding those pieces in decent condition are very rare I'm told. He'll have to do with what he has for right now - the car will still look great.
