I learned German in high school. By the time Uncle Sam sent me to Deutschland I had forgotten most of it (except when I had a few)(too many). The weird thing is that most Germans I came across spoke english to some extent.
i cant believe how many similarites there are between langauges .......once you learn one you can kinda roll into another one from the same region .....
thats why english is really hard to learn bcoz its an oddball ...english is only one that puts the subject after the point .......so its backwards to the rest of the world LOL
