Does anyone have pics of their custom made throttle linkages, brackets, etc. for a small block? Thanks in advance!

I replaced my two barrel setup with a four barrel on my 1969 318 and had to customize my kickdown linkage. Here's a couple pics.........

I swapped from a slant to a 360 and I used a cheap aftermarket cable for the throttle in combo with an original early-a gas pedal. The big issue I had was that engine heat kept melting the inner cable sheath so that it caused it to hang up and give a sticky pedal. I cut a piece of rubber fuel line lengthwise and wrapped it around the outer braided sheath to insulate it and it has worked fine ever since. For the kickdown I used a lokar-knockoff cable setup and it worked great from day one but I had to use a hammer to clearance the trans tunnel a little bit to make enough room for the clevis at the trans gear selection lever. Not a big deal and the cable kickdown is so much easier to adjust.

Not custom, but I used Lokar on my Duster. I don't know if I'll ever use anything else now. It attachs to the carb, so there's no brackets that use the intake bolts. Neat and simple.

You can't see it that wel in the pic, but you get the idea.

Do you have the kickdown and tyhrottle linkage from them? Do you know the part numbers?

Thanks!
