Rev-N-ator ignition boxes?

JMO, but i think its just best to read between the lines here. Certainly there could be variables within that test, but i think its safe to say they're comparable and a built-in revv limiter is nothing to sneeze at.

I might be buying one just for the revv limiter(and that my chrome box is corroded all to hell)

Msd makes a (inside the distributor) module that voids the ignition box all together and it has a rev limiter built in also.
Less than $100 bucks and the only other thing you would need is an HEI coil.
No more factory spark, no more ballast resistor.
Full HEI ignition and a rev limiter to boot.

The unit has an extra wire that comes out of the distributor that sets the rev limiter.
Lets say you want a 6000 rev limit.
You rev to 3000 and push the button and you have a 6000 limit.
It also displays the setting by making your tach jump up to the set rev limit for a second or two when you start the car.
