65 Dart, GT, GO Go Edition

This is my car, I purchased it over a year ago. The car is basically as it left the dealer in mid 1965. The washer motor is aftermarket, the previous owner added shoulder seatbelts, I have no clue why? The wiper blade arms are obviously aftermarket. Other than that it's all original, I have more pictures and or could take anything someone requests. It is up for sale though and I do have one interested person in Ohio. I also understand from a person named Ulf, this is the first car off the assembly line. I would love to find out how to get that actually documented, any ideas?

Chris

Chris! The Dart go/go package was officially introduced April 1st 1965. I have spoken with two dealers who sold them. One of them remembers them coming in the beginning of April.

As Slantsixdan and 65dartman said Go/go package was just a dealer kit helping Dodge to sell more cars. That's why you could choose all options or just pick one. If you didn't want the Cragar wheels, standard wheels was ok.

Your car is the first Dart go/go package car that I have in my registry!

All factory Dartchargers had a shipping order number starting with 7xxxx and 991 or 999 as paint code. The documented Dartcharger kit cars I have found has the shipping order number starting with 06xxx and paint code 881. The first Dartcharger I have found was assembled Sept 2, 1964 and the last one I have found was built March 2 of 1965.

Dart go/go package cars has shipping order number 06xxx or 3xxxx and paintcode 881. First one known produced March 17 is this car and the last one June 14th of 65 , thats what I have in my registry.

Remember that code 991, 999 and 881 was just for the paint. Not the interior. P4X for black and P4Y for white and gold. The first car I have found with white and gold interior was built in eary December of 1964. I havent found any documentation about this white/gold interior.
