I'm not sure, but I don't think the seat covers are original. Doesn't look like any of the factory vinyl options I remember.

How hard is it to find door panels? The arm rests alone are kind of spendy.
What about the package tray?

Looks like a rebuilt engine (why would you take the engine our to repaint it?

Looks like a pretty nice car...but I bet it's 153k, not 53k original miles...maybe even more.

It'd be a great deal for a lower price (half?)

A rust free 4 speed convertible is worth 7 grand to me if it runs and drives. Even if it isn't original
 
The interior is not original and his idea of really good shape and my idea of really good shape is WAAAAAAY different.

I was kind of thinking 5500, no rust holes is what he meant to say....
which can mean don't touch it or you will poke through.
Seems decent but I thought I could do better for 7500..
