I think the one on the right is gas supply. Not sure what the one on the left is.

The tall one is vapor vent to a charcoal canister that mounts there.
 
No, that is the only vent to the fuel tank. Early "non evap" emissions cars were all vented via a 1/4" line welded into the fuel filler neck near the cap, inside the trunk. This line went up in an upside down "U" to the top of the trunk and doubled back down, through the trunk gasket, and open ended in the left frame rail, IE gas could drip in there if overfilled

By plugging that line, you have no vent, as the cap is either not vented at all or is a "pressure vacuum" deal used on all later emission cars

smaller diameter is the vapor/vent line, and the larger one is the fuel line.
 
The one closer to the front was on a Charcoal canister, i just took it off my car.
 
I would run a vapor canister like the factory did if possible. It just traps fuel vapor so it doesn't smell so badly you walk by your car when it is in the garage. Its for emissions obviously but I like the fact that when hooked up properly, you dont smell gas all the time.

Nothing sucks more than getting into your car and breathing raw fuel fumes in the garage. Or parking it at a Sonic and smelling raw fuel while you eat your chilli dog with your fancy lady.

Burnt 100 octane on the other hand is like a man's perfume. Lemme rephrase that. Burnt 100 octane smells great and should be made a car air freshner.

So the charcoal canister, it runs up to the carburetor canister connection I believe. But you could route it to the air breather behind the air filter somewhere if you like so it would have a subtle vacuum on it. The only issue would be verifying if the vapor canister has a built in check fire valve before the carb port. SlantSixDan knows all about this canister process from what I have seen.
