Stereo/Alarm Question

Great advice from 67Dart... You are going to wire your amp straight to the battery BUT, you will be putting a lot of load on your charging system... all that current will be going through your bulkhead connector and ammeter... what may seem like OK wiring now may show up some issue later. bypassing the ammeter and putting in a volt meter should keep the charging circuit all under the hood and not going through the bulkhead connector which is a GREAT upgrade! .... Although I did not follow that in my 69 Barracuda and actually run 3 amps in the trunk and have so for the last 7 or 8 years with no issues. (although the last couple years it is not driven much)
