I wouldn't even consider paying $5800 for it and then have to take the engine out and throw it away or take it for scrap
because someone thought it was a good idea to put a chebby 327 in it

thats like the guy who thought it was a good idea to post an abody here that he was putting an LS engine in and I can't believe mopar purests supported him! he should have be kicked off the site! not for his thread but for bashing other peoples all mopar builds

I think it looks pretty cool from the outside. All that fab and they couldn't go Mopar on the drivetrain:violent1:. The valve cover decals prove they knew they screwed up......lol.
 
It's kinda like a transvestite. Looks good till you get a peek under the hood.
 
Like the Mopar Performance stickers on the valve covers........

Rant away my friend, but please go back and reread that thread. It wasn't the OP of that thread that was bashing the all Mopar builds. He was just building what he wanted with what he had and knew. The villiagers already had their torches lit and pitchforks sharpened when the other guy pitched in with the "better than" BS and ugly persued.

This car on the other hand could really use and old Hemi or Max Wedge for sure.

yup defiantly am, I suppose you like opening the hood on everything from a ford, AMC to dodge and seeing a chebby engine there?
 
Well lets see, a car completly done, just yank the power plant out put your'e own 340 in it and away you go, A roller up here with that much work done is worth $10,000 and it would be a steal, you could not get it to that point without power train for even close too $10,000. Still a very cool car, I would love too have it, My fav is the 69 Valiant.

There's a lot of stuff on the car I like. Not sure what the murder paint might be hiding, but it is a cool ride. If you can bag it for less than 8K it would be a swinging deal. You could sell that driveline for some coin to finance a proper engine and trans.

How come nobody swiveled about the Ford 9"?

I could not care less what anybody does to THERE car. They footed the bill for it not me. What someone else does to there car has ZERO effect on the value of my car. It has ZERO effect on anything to do with my life what so ever so why in the hell should I care about it? Might want to do yourself a favor and put me on your ignore list..........there is more than likely going to be an LS in my car some day.....in front of the GM 4l80e and FORD 9 inch rear end. You want to put a Toyota motor in your car? Have at it. Somehow shoehorn an Allison trans into it, knock yourself out. It has ZERO effect on me, the earth will still spin and the sun will still rise and set........
 
What do you call a Valiant with a chevy motor in it ?

i dig it. i dont like the rear wheel wells though. they throw me off. i have always liked the straight axel set ups. as for the chevy engine. you could prob yank it out and sell it pretty easily and fund a new build. i dont care much for the dash treatment either.
