The 340 inserts are sold. It took exactly 17 minutes to sell them complete with paypal transaction.

Yes Craig I still need that Formula S fastback, convert is not cutting it.

Welcome to the world of private messages instead of posting on the thread and sending a pm. That was the way it was done when I signed on three years ago so you would know the order of buyers that were interested but times have changed. Sorry you lost out.
 
I apologize to those who emailed me requesting pics of the 340 Hood Inserts.
There were 2 or 3 of you who immediately responded. But while you were waiting on pics to decide, I received a call from someone who already had my phone number (which I cannot post here) from a previous transaction. He said he trusted my description and paid via Paypal on the spot.

What would you all have me do next time? I am new at selling on here, so straighten me out....
 
This is just my opinion. But if you have something for sale, to keep everything transparent, I would go by "replies" to the "for sale" thread in order. Of course if someone replies and sends a pm they get bumped to the front of the line. Just my opinion and they are your parts, do as you will. Maybe as well when you pot here, post that they are for sale locally......post pics too, internet and digital cams have been around for decades now
 
Sorry..but I need to ask if you are saying that PM responses go to the front even if was sent AFTER an on-line reply?

I always figured that whoever comes up with the cash first gets the part, but I think I may need to rethink this......

So based on time of the response?

How long do I wait for payment before offering it to someone else?

End of the current day ???

Has this ever been discussed and decided on???
 
If someone "replys" but doesnt send a pm within a reasonable amt of time, the way I see it its fair game to sell to the next guy/gal in line.....this is my opinion. Posting pics will help stop a lot of the pm's requesting them too.
Tell the person that you have someone else interested, so you would like a reply/commitment.
