Glad it was something simple!
I actually did get to do some work on the fenders a door and the trunk lid. Finished sandblasting anything crusty, metal etch primed or sprayed with rust converter, then primed with 2k primer. Looks so much better.

Then a couple coats of 2k primer that I had:
Once I get the other door finished and the hood stripped and primed, all of the removable sheetmetal will be ready to bolt on.
