Far off from paint for my 73' Duster but had the crazy and maybe not so good idea of doing a two tone sublime green bottom and plum crazy purple top instead of the black for the hood and body line around the side windows.

or

Plum crazy car with sublime green aar stripes or black aar stripes with sublime green border.

Please let me know if you have ever seen pictures or cars like I am talking about and give me your honest opinion. I am not even convinced really, this color scheme reminds me of the Joker. I have included a few pictures for examples.

Thanks,
Brandon

yes there is a couple (hubby and wife) that i have seen at Carlisle that have 2 E-BODIES one is plum trimed in sublime the other is sublime trimed in plum kind of neat when you seem the parked next to each other

I like it two popular colors in one with a twist. I like the Black with green nice contrast. Silver would be cool with green

I have a project going and have wild ideas all the time then reality kicks in

Ah reality, too boring! Went ahead and ordered the sublime green bordered and matte black strobe stripes and 512 hood call out from Gary this morning. Should be a bright car with the purple paint and these accents, I am excited to see it!

i wouldnt mix the two either ....& thats comin from a guy with an fm3 car , fj5 car & fy1 car , go w flat black mix not double high impact , but hey its ur ride , do as u like :glasses7:

personally i think the two colors are hideous together.

I agree with Joe. Way to much.

i completely agree , i think its gross...
the purple next to the green makes it look flourescent

Xs how ever many that makes. Both great colors but not together.

I like it. I would definitely need to see it in person because Sublime looks way different in Pictures. Sublime looks way better in person IMO.

In the spirit of keeping this entertaining and stirring things up with Mopar purists maybe I should just paint the engine block sublime green as well. :burnout:

I am a purist but heck yeah paint the engine sublime green. A buddy of mine had a race car and painted the engine white. I thought it looked super cool. The reason he did it was so he could see the first sign of any leak.

for me, it has nothing to do with being a purist. simply put, i think those two colors clash like a trainwreck. make sure the engine bay is flat black, the engine is panther pink , B5 blue valve covers with a chrome axle and K frame.....

oh... and dont forget the LS motor

just kidding LMAO you started it ...hehehehe :D

and some of them little fuzzy balls dangling around in all the window openings. Pink would look good.
