Does anyone know if the following motors can be swapped? I have a 68 Valiant with the engine numbers 2463430-13. A guy has a 73 Duster with a motor numbered 2806830-3. Can I swap my slant for his without major reworking to line everything up? He also has the 904 tranny to go with it. So i can get both pieces to put in my Vali68.

I am not sure about the 225 slant six but I know that with the ford 300 slant six 302 and 351 will bolt up to trans and motor mounts, but the the wiring is different, plugs for sensors I think the 225 is the same way

any slant coming out of a 73 duster will bolt up in a 68 valiant ......the motor mounts are different so keep the original ones to the car with the car .....and they will bolt to either engine .......this is such an easy swap

You've done this before? So I use the mounts that are in my 68 Valiant? I don't have to change Oil pans or anything?

yes i have, in my build thread i put one from a 72 demon to a 69 dart .....and i have done many other swaps too http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=188256

67-72 they had the pad type motor mounts and 73+ they had had spool mounts ....thats why you keep the valiant's original ones......A-body to A-body will be relatively painless ....oil pans are good to go
