I want to upgrade my 60 foot time last weekend we had 1/8 mile race here in austria and i run 8.078 @ 96.31m/ph my 60 foot time was 2.083 and i want to get a better start, i have a 426 small block from hughes with 3500stall and 3.23 gears i want to change them into 3.90 gears, in the front suspension i have 3 way adjustable koni shocks and at the rear i have stock leaf springs and shocks from monroe http://www.ebay.com/itm/Monroe-5849...outh|Model:Duster&hash=item256d9793d5&vxp=mtr

would ss-springs help me or other modifications but i dont want a four link or so, keep it in original look, thx Peter

New rear springs with a shock that compresses quickly will help. I really like my competition engineering shocks and super stock springs. A good tire goes a long way too.

calvert cal-tracs all the way ... i had the full set-up on my coronet, big difference over multi-leaf springs and shocks ... had the mono-leaf, bars and adjustable shocks ... very consistant ...

check out the RMS street lynx rear setup. i raced john clarks valiant at the musclecar of the year challenge in the 1/4 and i was amazed how it hooked. there are some guys in poland buying a bunch of bills stuff.

thx guys for your helps i will follow your steps and next year i will see how it works

Thx Peter
