Mods are in the description. Here I had 2.76 gears and an open rear end which prevented me from any hard launches. Somehow I wound up with a 1.9 60ft and ran 14.4 I now have a 3.73 posi ford 8.8. I was wondering what time increase I could be looking at with that upgrade?

The car was in the process of body work and still is, but I have no primered the entire car.

1.9's 60 ft. is pretty good. How much motor do you have?? That's a pretty good 60ft for such a crappy gear.

Its a 360 with lunati streetmaster cam, hooker supercomp headers, weiand 8007 intake manifold and stock 360 heads oh and a holley 650 DP

Wow! That thing ran pretty good. With your new combo, you should pick up 60ft.,et, and mph. Your car launches great.

when i had my car with the 318. it went 15.20s and 60ft in the 2.20s with the 2.76 peg leg. went to 3.55's and detroit locker with a drag radial. car went 13.60-13.75 with a 1.70 60ft. your car looks like it dead hooked out of the hole. tires will now be your limiting factor with the new gear. torque converter will be your best bang for the buck next. 3000-3500 stall speed will help the gears work. it will be a whole new animal then.

Stall will drop,with more gear.Outstanding 60 ft time,because of can/ converter mismatch.Now you addedgear,possibly a 12 second pass.That gear,may make traction issues,.When you fix that,a mild stall converter.

It has a 2500 stall converter in it. The stall and cam brought me from 14.99 to 14.43. And from a 2.2 60ft to a 1.9 60ft

A mainly street car that runs in this range, and using numbers off such a mismatched gear makes predicting this nothing more then a crap shoot. But here goes :icon_smi:.

I have to assume you were going thru the traps in 2nd gear. If you were in high it had to be virtually dead across the stripe. I think you'll pick up 3-4 mph now. The 60' is a little trickier. That 1.90 was so strong that i'm not sure there will be a drastic improvement. If the hook is still decent i'm gonna say in the 1.85 area.

I don't quite see a 12sec slip yet, although the potential is there. I'm thinking first pass around 13.80 @ 97ish, and with launch technique and shift points optimized a good pass will be 13.40/13.50 @ 98/99.

I could be dead wrong, but that's what makes this fun........Kinda like our own version of Pass Time.....lol.

Thanks for letting us opine, good luck and have fun .
