More crap from TV land, I was kinda liking the show untill I watched this episode, gas monkey gets a Shelby Dak for FREE and they think they should scrap it as according to them NO ONE would want it...At least they donated it to a "worthy cause" then it was auctioned off for $2500.00
This same episode has them building a 32 roadster, OH WOW another over produced, mass produced Street Rod, just like mustangs, Camero's and A--holes everyone has one...SHEESH Rant over....

Seen it but I like that show LOL! I thoght the same about the truck but didn't think it was worth $2500 likem it sold at auction for. The 32 wasn't my favorite car but it was a real original steel 32 Ford body with a title, not a kit, but it needed to be a highboy. All these shows on now are BS but atleast they are about cars and thats why I like to watch them. And these shows are all about flipping cars, atleast 3 or 4 of them, but again, nice to see cars on TV.

If you don't like Fast 'n Loud you could always start watching the housewives of orange county or MTV Teen mom shows LOL!!!

^^^HAHA no Way!!^^^

So ok maybe my wording was a little strong I do like the show for the most part but was disappointed by the way they handled the Dak...Good points you have BTW.
And i do like Counting Cars at least he sees value in Mopars!!!

that dakota was a pile of crap.. would have taken more money then it was worth to do anything with it.. was it even a real shelby? i saw the original color was red. could see it popping out from under the lime green crappy paint.

personally i get a kick out of that show.. they sure don't take themselves serious, they lose money quit a bit and they crack me up.. everything else take it for what it is. a tv show designed for entertainment.

I have never seen Fast and Loud, I am watching a Duster build and a Willy's build on some show..:glasses7:

I have said it before a couple of times in other threads, but to me, fast and loud, is the most real of the car genre reality shows. And they seem like some of the most genuine people on any of these shows..Definitley cool cats to hang out with and drink beer with LOL .. and I agree the 32 shoulda been a high boy.. Aaron won that battle but the other dude was right... And again I like the fact that they're not afraid to show the world, they lose their asses on some of this stuff..

+1

Its kind of an interesting truck historically.(one of the shelby is a money ***** cars), but it was basically a boxy truck with a funky body kit.

I saw that episode last night too, they lost out big on the 32 ford....That action is like 20 miles from my house, I wish I would have known they were going to film up there and I would have gone. I think its a pretty good show, but my favorite one right now is Counting Cars on the History channel, he seems to have decent respect for Mopar!

Pretty damned ugly truck in my opinion also, i wouldn't waste my money on it either. The ford was nice & if as the OP state, "everyone" had one, I'd be a happy guy. Fast N Loud is a great show, look forward to it every week.

I like the Gas Monkey. He keeps it pretty real and often loses his a$$ at the auctions. He's a bit arrogant but all us good looking guys can get that way. LOL. My favorite Car show right now is Graveyard carz. Lot's of Cool Mopars on that one.

I like the cars and seeing the finished projects afterwards.
The drama and crap for the camera makes me want to slap that prick.
He does look like he could possibly hold his own though.

I thought it was funny when he was at the auction and the bidding started at $2000.00 , his face was priceless , he was not thinking about the kids ,he was thinking, ****, I just lost 2K !!!

drama? IMO the best part of the show is the lack of anything i would quantify as drama. I see little for the camera disputes, but when i think drama i think of those retards from OCC(ugh, i cant believe its still on the air) and the days of that awful boyd coddington show.

I caught that boyd jack waggon show once as a rerun, even the wife was yawning by the end of it.,....

I saw that episode and those were my thoughts exactly. I don't trust "flippers" in the first place and was wondering, do these guys EVER build Mopars?

So I can already tell I'm gonna catch some fire under my @$$ for this comment, but here goes...

I hate to say it, but in my OPINION the Shelby Dakota is no more appealing to me than an average Dak (we have three 92's sitting in my front yard, all with the 3.9L V6). And don't get me wrong, I love the Dakota.

So Shelby took a truck, chopped the roof off and snazzed it up, meanwhile completely ignoring any kind of performance potential for the V6. Oh, and on some models, they put a bone stock 318 in the truck only a few years before Chrysler decided to do the same thing.

Big... Whoop...
