This is my 318 engine Dodge Dart 73 (Brazilian) , compcams pph280, ported heads, and the intake manifold, Edelbrock air-gap converted to electronic fuel injection, 8 nozzles gm astra 2.0 flexfluel 29 lbs, electronic fuel injection module delphi 1227730 (f body camaro 91)

Not sure I would have used a dual plane intake......there is a reason pretty much any car that I have seen with an "aftermarket" TPI setup uses a single plane.....Just check the FAST catalog, Edelbrock and even perhaps here ........Everywhere I have looked all I have seen used is single planes.....Welcome to FABO

You're right, the original kits are all single plane. Before that I used a holley 650 cfm TBI, 4 nozzles, worked very well. But now it's much better, just one month makes this ready. Sorry if you do not understand my writing in English, I'm studying the language and of course when I do not know, use the help of google, kkk ..

Perhaps this has more influence with the command used than with the injection, the nozzles in single or dual plane are in the same position, throwing fuel on top of the head valves.

Welcome to the group, thats a nice setup! Your English is much better then my Spanish or Portugese. As for the manifold, run what you brung!!! Old American saying.

Did you fabricate the MPFI yourself or is there a company there that does it? Either way your setup is tough. It looks like you welded (TIG?) custom aluminum blocks to the intake, which isn't easy. I would think a dual plane would work fine with MPFI. As I understand, the main advantage of the dual plane is to give longer intake runners for a better "tuned port" effect at low to mid-range. A single plane is better for max rpm. It does affect the vacuum signal in a carb, but that is a secondary effect.

Was your earlier system the Holley Pro-jection 4D or the Commander 950 TBI? I have the earlier Pro-jection 2D on one car, but it doesn't work great, I think because not enough sensors (just throttle position and rpm). I have a Commander 950 to try when I get a chance.
 
Yes,it will.Dry air flow,with the injector pointed at the intake valve ,works nice.No longer worried,about atomization.

We develop all here in a mechanical workshop of a friend. It was in TIG welded aluminum blocks (were bars that were cut to fit in the intake manifold, so the nozzles were the same height).

The TBI is that I use a Pro-4D. Since the injection module, search for, 1227730 on ebay, need to know a bit of programming modules electronic injection, I do it here about 10 years. Good reading on http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/diy-prom/.

Smart. Most hobbyists and low-cost EFI kits use a GM engine computer, as you did. Nobody has hacked a Mopar computer as far as I know. Some use Megasquirt, but ~$300 assembled, plus a whole lot of additional wiring and sensors, and learning. My long-range plan is to install a Magnum intake on my 1965 273, as a cheap MPFI setup. I know the bolt angles are different, but mine are only 16 deg off vertical so might be do-able. I will let you know in a few years, after other priorities.

I hope Kit Carlson sees this. He is very interested in EFI. Maybe send him the link in a PM if he doesn't chime in.
